Description: (1) Hunter and (1) Observer or additional Hunter (at no additional day rate cost) for (7) Days at the Maweni Lodge for a Nyala plus Impala or Warthog hunts. The lodge is nestled amongst scenic high mountains with cottages, swimming pool and luxury lodge and bar. Maweni lodge is in a game rich area and almost all Southern African Game species including big game can be hunted within a reasonable distance from the lodge. Cost of extra days is $500.00 per day and non-hunter $250.00 per day. Include a day trip to Addo Elephant Park or Deep Sea or Trout Fishing.

INCLUDES: Trophy fees for Nyala and Impala or Warthog,  Meals and beverages, lodging (private cottages), laundry service and transportation during the hunt. Pick up at East London or Port Elizabeth Airport to ranch. Skinning, caping and field dressing of trophies. Services of PH, vehicles and trackers.

NOT INCLUDES: Airfare to and from East London/Port Elizabeth Airports, Dip, Pack and Ship of trophies, trophy fees, hotels before and after hunt, 14% VAT tax. Rifle Rental of $100.00 per day. All wounded animals will be required to be paid for in full. Trophy and Non-Trophy animals can be added at a very reasonable cost.

​The word “Maweni” means “between the krantzes”. The stone and thatched lodge is set amongst red ironstone mountains which offer inspiring views of the surrounding wild countryside with its dams and river below. Animals and birds are prolific and offer many wonderful photographic opportunities as you view them from vehicle, mountain bike or on foot. The tranquil lodge offers a sparkling pool to relax by on hot summer days, and you may choose to spend time on your private chalet verandah or gather at the main verandah and bar.

Maweni Lodge is situated some 280 km North of Port Elizabeth in the high mountains around Queenstown. At around 5,000 feet elevation, very cold temperatures can be expected in winter. Maweni Game Ranch is around 8,000 acres in size with an abundance of plains game on offer such as Kudu, Impala, Gemsbok, Mountain Reedbuck, Blesbuck, Black Wildebeest, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Common Duiker, Steenbuck, Springbuck, Waterbuck, Zebra and Vaal Rhebok.
